There is a misconception that all racing kayaks are tippy boats – not at all!
Did you know, there are more than 30 of our club members, aged 10 years to 70+, who get enjoyment from racing? The word I stress, is “enjoyment”.
Give it a go
Your first step will be into a stable racing kayak. As you gain confidence, you will quickly find yourself ready to try some of the faster, less stable kayaks. So, give it a go and come join us for a formal introduction to racing kayaks course on 3-4 and 10-11 August from 10-11am.
No matter your level of paddling experience, come join us and give it a go. But there is a danger you might “enjoy” it.
