Our advanced courses are aimed at those who want to master a specific style of paddlesport, such as touring or sea kayaking. Only a few of our coaches are able to teach these courses. However, we will always try to help members find courses being run by local clubs should the need arise.

British Canoeing Discipline Specific Awards
Discipline Specific Awards are aimed at building your skills in your chosen discipline. For example, if you are proficient at flat water racing, you can progress your skills to gain confidence and race at higher levels. Learn more here.
Coaching Courses
British Canoeing Coaching Awards start with the British Canoeing Instructor Award, then you progress on to the discipline specific coach awards, British Canoeing Coach Award. We are keen to involve more members in coaching, so do get in touch. In the meantime, find out more on Paddle UK or the British Canoeing Awarding Body website.
