BCCC Hasler 2025 Cancelled

Sorry folks this has now been cancelled due to excessive weed in the canal.

Come on down to the Basingstoke Canal to participate in the first Southern Region Hasler race of the year.
A great location to race on a great stretch of water, with plenty of long stretches to pick up your speed, including one or two portages for those that go the distance [shorter distances available without portages]. A beautiful and peaceful location to race, with lots of fellow paddlers to compete with, from clubs as far away as Cornwall.
Free onsite parking and great paddlers food are included – we even have an onsite café and changing facilities [including showers].

Calling all volunteers!
This is the biggest race event of the year for the BCCC and requires lots of organisation and support. So, even if you don’t plan on racing, please get in touch to volunteer by emailing Rachel ER Neighbour.
Generally speaking we need around 30 people to make the event safe and successful, so if you fancy a fun day out at a picturesque location, get in touch.
